Explore SAM's educational programming on homeschool days, dedicated to meeting the diverse STEM learning needs of North Carolina families. Hands-on interactives and exciting programs highlight STEM and aviation industry careers. Need to schedule a visit before a homeschool day? With general admission, your learners will have unlimited gallery access with supplemental materials available to help guide them at their own pace. The makerspace is available for all guests during museum hours.

Calling All Scouts!
Earn your patches here. Scouts explore programs meeting merit badge requirements through hands-on activities in the museum galleries and makerspace. Guests participate in a single merit badge program or a combined merit badge program. All Scouts may participate in programming that highlights engineering, aviation, or weather. Girl Scouts may also book programming highlighting women in STEM, including women in aviation history, careers in aviation, and real interviews with women in the aviation industry.
